Cancellation of contract

How you can have vacation and people try to stole your money. I had been approach to sign for Travel smart VIP program. Never sign this contract. I am sure this is a SCAM. I had 5 days for cancel and everyone disappear and emails isnt working - SCAM. how Hotels 5 stars can have this people working "professional" and then you come back in your country and you realized they took your money and nothing was benefits for you. Please protect us about those people. We love travel but not spending money and time to SCAM

Worse call center

Every time i try to talk to someone i am on hold for 30mins and end up hanging up. I have yet to talk to anyone in 12 attempts.

POOR SERVICE

I’ve been trying to redeem a certificate that I received I hopes of booking a trip soon. I’ve been trying for over a month. The phone rings and rings FOR LONG TIME. Raul Garcia Anaya is the only person who can help with reservations and emails go unanswered because , in Mexico CITY. This is a scam and it is very unprofessional.

When they were selling the packages to my wife and I, the sales rep, Catherine, was great and friendly. But when, Vincent, the closer/manager, came, he was not friendly at all. Kept asking why we are not buying the packages and why can’t we come to vacation every year. I explained to him multiple time, and he just kept pressuring us and saying very rude things. He told that because of not buying the packages, we are on the path to divorce. He said our lifestyle is not healthy and we have problems. Was very upset when he said these things to us. He needs to be dealt with. Very very rude person. As a business owner to myself, I will fire him right away for he ruin the relationship with us and travel smart. Honestly I would have thought buying the packages, but when Vincent came and trying to close it, he actually ruined it. That’s all I have to say.

Trying to cancel

My husband and I joined travel smart September this year in the Dominican Republic after a lengthily sales pitch when we arrived back home in the UK we looked into it futlrther we can book it cheaper through a travel agent saving us £500 that is including flights with travel smart we have to book flight separate which is £800 pounds from the uk so by the time we have paid our loan each month and the yearly fee we will be well out of pocket we have tried to ring travel smart but no answer also we have 2000 points but you can’t get anything like we were shown for that amount of points does any one no how we can cancel this

Thieves/Scamm

I made deposit of $1500 for a $1845 vacation club in Jamaica at Royalton hotel in Trelawney, Montego Bay, Jamaica. I had a balance of $345 left to pay.

I decided I did not want to go through with the vacation club any longer and wanted to cancel.

As soon as I wanted to cancel travel smart from royalton hotel in Jamaica decided to post their payments on my bank account and creditcard once I sent a cancellation email. I called and email for 5-7 days before I got a response and even then they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee of $510.00 and I have not purchase the vacation club and I owed them $345.

Resolved: Membership questions

We joined in December 2017 and now trying to reserve for the first time. Only to find out that I paid a lot of money that only includes an "all inclusive usage fee" covered by points they assign to your account. Does not include food, drink, etc. That is all extra and not inexpensive considering all the money I paid up front. The sale folks made it appear as though these points and the package you buy up front covers everything. I fear this is a buyer beware moment. Meanwhile I am out a lot of money. Not sure the next recourse since it has been so long though I have not used any of their services. I appreciate any information anyone has that may have a similar experience.

I don't know who Valuable Tuatara is. I guess it is the name this company, *** consumer, assigned to my original post back in October.

We were sold Travelsmart membership for 15 years when we were vacationing in one of their all inclusive resorts. We were told the membership covers all costs in their resorts. We tried to read and understand all details in the contract. However, they are scam artists and the contract is written to confuse you and cheat you. When we called them to book a vacation, we were surprised to find out the package only covers rooms, not food. They then charged $1000/person for 5 days for food in their resorts! If you book same resort for 5days in the same room with all inclusive package, it would only cost $900/person. It is absolutely a rip off! When we tried to get our money back, they cancelled our membership and did not give our money back. We have never used their membership and service. We are cheated out $10,000 by those scammers! Don’t let them cheat you!

DC Benefits

Diamond Club Privileges/Benefits are clearly defined by the brand aka Royalton. The bracelet defines you, the traveler, as someone who is entitled to all of the benefits that come with wearing it, and yes, that includes the services of a butler. We were told and sold the same information used to attract many buyers so they cannot claim this was the failing of 1 or 2 salespeople. It's all scripted. When the time comes to plan a vacation, they renege on their offerings but if you read your contract there is nothing in black and white that says, BUTLERS EXCLUDED. Disney and Marriott don't pull the rug on their members and neither should TSVIP.

Another terrible experience through Travelsmart vip club

Attempting to book a vacation using our purchased timeshare points from Travelsmart VIP Club. To vacation during an off season week costs us more points than we have available.

Of course when we purchased our points we were assured using the booking brochure that they were plenty for any season, & with an incredible saving. On top of it costing more than one years points, the fee for the weeks “all inclusive” accommodations exceeded $3700 US.

Also, they denied that we had called the year prior to roll over the points we weren’t able to use. It is a total scam.

They are scam artists. This is the most disreputable company we have ever dealt with.

When you complain they continuously say “it is written in the contract that you signed”.

I have been on the phone with members of your team for 3 days in a row. One of your team members repeatedly told me to refer to the contract we signed.

Worst customer service ever. Not interested in doing anything helpful.

Marlon is the most rude persons I have ever met. So very unprofessional.

Throwing papers and pens. Yelling. Storming off. Who does that????

I get you are in sales. Sales are negotiations. Not making scenes. I don’t know how they hire people like this to rip you off.
