Travelsmart Vip Club - Cancellation
I have been attempting to cancel this for 3 weeks. I bought a travel package while visiting the Dominican Republic.
My daughter signed me up for what was supposed to be an upgrade to the hotel. I went to a room where I was told they needed my passport for the upgrade. After I gave it to them they started to discuss the program. I was approached several times by 5 different people..
I was there almost 5 hours. I signed up and was told if I didn't feel it was right I had 5 days to cancel. After going back to my room and realizing what I had done I called the next morning to cancel. I was well within the 5 days.
I was told it would be processed. It's been nearly 3 weeks and several emails and calls to travelsmart. Each time I call the direct number I'm told there's nothing they can do it has to be done from who I purchased it from.
I have emailed the people I purchased it from they have called a few times and each time they tell me they are working on it or try and sell me another package. At this point I am going to seek legal help in getting this matter resolved.

I too got screwed over by travelsmart, but I'm waaaay over the 15 day period. I tried cancelling, but they refuse to let me cancel the membership, so I just stopped paying.
Can they still send collections or do anything if I'm not even in their country?? I mean their contract says "Jurisdiction of Barbados Courts"...I'm in the U.S.A bro.
Please reply with how you got out of this mess. They sucked 5 grand out of me.
