Scammed is the only way to describe it. We bought into this club on false promises.

They showed us point values assuring us that we could travel in any season for the money we paid (a lot). When booking, we found that we are 5,000 points short for the worst room in prime season, & over 12,000 points short in premium season. Also, the "use fees" have increased outrageously, it will cost us $2478 in addition to our purchase price. Again, for the worst room, & without airline tickets.

DON'T BUY INTO THIS SCAM! Cheaper to book online! Don't believe them when they tell you the treatment is better for club members either, last time we stayed, we socialized with another non-member couple.

Their room was premium, & they were wined & dined because they were trying to get them to buy into the scam. RUN.

I am initiating a class-action. I need documented evidence that there are no benefits to be a member of TravelSmart.

Compare their offer for vacation (do not forget to include the cost of "SmartPoints", membership feeโ€ฆ) with a quote from a reputable online travel agency.

Print them. It should be the same place, room, date, flightโ€ฆ If you are willing to join the initiating group, send a one page complaint with detailed info, contract number, signed date, name to: scamfighter@***.net

I signed with them.. and they did not include a lot of pertinent information..

they throw the works at you to buy and then you find out that the price for food per person per day is $149... and that the flights are such ... expedia offers just as good price better if you ask me.. and you can go to vacations to go too!

Don't buy points..

its not worth it if everything isn't included !

and what is the *** cancellation period? everyone wants to know and its not in the contract!

and... timeshares are illegal in Mexico so memberships were made to cover the word timeshare..

weirdly there is no cancellation terms in the contract.. so where is this 15% coming from?

I have contacted Pat Foran from CTV news (Consumer alert) already and I am going to start posting on both TravelSmart VIP as well Royalton Cancun Facebook pages... maybe even on Sunwing page as well as it seems like they are behind this.

Since you always post the same response, I did not wait for you to do that but sent my details to the socialmedia email address on January 5th. I finally got a call today...

unfortunately not the response I was looking for. It seems like all of you who are trying to respond to our complaints do the same thing - trying to explain the benefits of the membership to us. PLEASE understand - we don't need that. The benefits were explained to us at the time when we signed on the contract.

We are not idiots who need further explanation but you need to work with your sales people and train them to not give all sorts of misrepresentations.

You don't need to explain the membership to us NOW but address our complaints and help us get out of these contracts. Our complaints are that the promises given are not even close to what the reality is.

We think you'll find that our answers are different to every situation however our offer to help has always and will always remain the same.

We do find that in almost all cases, we can resolve the situation by clearing up any confusion that has been caused and by showing our members how to use their membership to their advantage. As you have clearly indicated above this is not the case with your particular situation and for that, we apologize.

We're sure you can appreciate that unfortunately we are unable to identify our members by the usernames chosen on this site and for that reason, we ask for the membership information to be sent to us in order for us to be able to help.

What is your next response going to be? I did what you said -I contacted the socialmedia email address and I yet have to see what the famous response to that will be.

You have been copied on all my communication with your Quality Department and even though you can see that there's total disregard to what my issue is, you never said a word! So, please, we are already frustrated enough so don't give directions that you have no intention to respond to.

I am not going to name the person from the Quality Dept I dealt with but I am sure you know who that is.

If that person cannot answer to the complaints and does not know how to resolve the issue, he or your team should know who can. The last couple of weeks proved to me that this is really a big scam and sooner or later, you will all be out of jobs as this company cannot continue to exist and deceive so many people.

We have been scammed too, and we are looking for help. We have been going back and forward and there is no one to call us for resolution.

We are so frustrated that they lied to us on the presentation.

Please, can you let us know if they resolved this finally for you?

You are correct....Promises are not delivered and we as members are treated the same or worse than non members.

Is a company of scammers, you are ruining your vacation with the invitation to know more of their hotels. They do not let you go until you buy and then you buy them you have no consideration on their part, they sell you heaven that day and then it's *** what you get after you sign. More than 120 members are going to file a lawsuit together to see if these scammers stop cheating.
