Travelsmart Vip Club - Voucher Accommodation Certificate
My wife and I attended a destination wedding at the Royalton Punta Cana Resort. We repeatedly deflected the request to sit through a travel club meeting.
Finally, to get our concierge to leave us alone we went along. We sat through a 3 1/2 hour meeting that was supposed to be an hour. We said no. We received our voucher in return.
So far so good - right? However, we have called the number and used the appropriate email to contact TravelSmart. My wife stayed on hold for 90 minutes and no one ever picked up. I've emailed several times and received no response.
Needless to say, I can't recommend TravelSmart or Royalton for any of your vacation needs.
This was a complete scam that wasted a bunch of vacation time. I doubt I'd even take the voucher now as I don't trust this company.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $2500.
Preferred solution: I don't trust this company. If the voucher if valued at $2500, I think I should receive $2500..

I had the exact same experience if you had reached them they would have tried to make you pay$1500 for the food and drink package. Yes it's a scam. I'm emailing royalton bookit and everyone else involved daily for my trouble.

This is the email I received from TravelSmart. I replied with my certificate and have heard nothing in return.
